Safeguarding/ Online Safety

We are committed to safeguarding and supporting children. To report a concern about a child in our school please talk to your child's teacher, or one of the above.  

You can contact BANES Social Care to request support, or to report a concern about a child or young person.

Call the children's team on 01225 396313 if:

  • A child is suffering significant harm

  • You want to protect a child from abuse or serious neglect

  • You feel the child requires urgent or short-term care (acute services)
    Call 999 if you think a child or young person is in immediate danger.

You can also contact the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) if you need to report a concern about an adult who works with children.

At St Keyna, we take safeguarding extremely seriously. We carry out regular audits of our safeguarding policies and procedures and regular training is completed by all staff.  The relevant school policies can be downloaded by clicking on the policy name below.

 

Smartphone Free Childhood

St Keyna supports the Smartphone Free Childhood campaign.

If you would like to get involved please speak to your child's class teacher.
